Hey guys and girls, how are all of you doing? I’m doing great thanks. My reason for posting this thread is to find out what you guys want from Creativeoverflow. I will supply the questions that you “as a reader” can answer and then I can make decisions based on your opinions. Alright let’s get down straight to the point, the questions that is.

QUESTIONS FOR THE READERS

  1. How many times a week should I post Articles? “Daily?” | “Monday, Wednesday, Friday?” | “Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday?”
  2. What type of articles would you like from me? “Information Articles? Tips,Tricks,Advice” | “Tutorials – Photoshop,Illustrator,Css?” | “Roundups – WordPress Themes, Tutorials, Scripts, Shortcodes?” | “Inspiration – Digital, Vexel, Illustrations, Traditional?” | “Freebies – Icon Sets, Textures, Psd’s?”
  3. Would you guys buy the Tutorial’s PSD’s for $1-$3 depending on the Type/Length of the Tutorial? “Ex, Displacement Effect Tuts, with 200+ Layers, or Lighting Effects with Unique Styling?”
  4. Do You guys like the New Blog Theme? What Should I add to it or Change? “Your Choice”
  5. Would anyone want to write a Guest Post for Creativeoverflow? “If you do then contact us through the contact form.”

Those are the questions that I wanted to bring to your attention. Please let me know through the comments section what your answers will be.

    How many times a week should I post Articles?

    I think it’s perfect price for a good quality PSD.

    As I said before I like it. But subscribers counter on sidebar doesn’t work.

    Hey Jacques,

    • I really like how you’ve kept the content on the site original – you don’t water it down with common lists. I’d rather see a few posts a week, and a special feature-style post on weekends. There are a fair amount of readers who really just don’t have time to read so daily articles. I subscribe to Abduzeedo, but rarely – rarely – ever go and read it since they just post way too much and it gets confusing.

    • The new design looks great. Common style, but def more readable than the old one.

    • I would pay for tutorials, but that’s just me.

    • Sidebar: InspiredMag does a cool thing where they feature the twitterfeeds of certain linked ‘friends’. It’s a cool way to sharespace and increase readability.

    Hello, Jacques! Always enjoy such posts like an interviews.
    1. You can update your blog 2-3 times a week, no more, but it’d better if you found 1-2 really hot and even sensational posts 1-2 times a month.
    2. I would appreciate if you post 1-2 Information Articles a month.

    4. ya, I like it – I discovered you blog just before redesign and was really surprised next day where is that blog :D

    1. After every two days, post a new article.
    2. More basic stuff for beginners – low intermediate.
    3. Yes, that would be great, but I don’t have a credit card :( lol
    4. Yes, i love the header, maybe change the blue BG to a gradient.
