Today we have yet another giveaway for you, our readers. We have partnered with ProofHQ to bring you some licenses to the value of $3,588 each. I am sure everyone would be beneficial in picking up one of these 2 licenses that we are giving away. I have gone ahead and created a nice lengthy giveaway post for ProofHQ explaining what they are about. To take part in this giveaway is just as easy; you are going to be leaving a comment below and that is it to stand in line for the prize.
About ProofHQ
ProofHQ is an online collaboration tool that allows design and marketing teams to streamline the process of getting work approved, shortening design cycles and resulting in less revisions. Where teams have previously emailed attachments and then relied upon cc’s with written comments trying to explain changes that each person would like to see, ProofHQ is all done online. All that you need is a browser, so there’s no need to own the program in which the original file was created. From there, a link is sent to all reviewers and they can mark the file up collaboratively in real-time and comment on each other’s feedback. There’s then an audit trail which means designers area assisted in charging for the number of revisions that they’ve had to do. At the moment, this can be done for static and web files. However, we’ve just introduced audio visual proofing, which is a huge step forwards for us.
ProofHQ’s Latest Extenstion (AV)
ProofHQ announces the extension of its service to include the ability to proof Audio-Visual (AV) files in addition to web and print files, making it one of the most comprehensive online proofing services in the market.
Features of the AV proofing include:
- Threaded commenting with date stamps and approval as a recorded audit trail
- Adjustable playhead allowing collaborative markup at specific points in the video or stretched over a whole section of the video
- Side-by-side version comparison to check whether previous feedback has been incorporated
- Ability to transfer the finished file at the end of the proofing process
A demo video can be found here. The application already boasts the ability to share large files, upload proofs for review and approval with collaborative commenting and markup. This includes very large files of up to 1GB. With drag and drop functionality throughout, including their Desktop Uploader, the team have worked hard to ensure the app is as intuitive and easy to use as possible.
