Inspiration: Vector Movie Posters

I love movies and I bet you do too. Isn’t awesome that when browsing the internet you sometimes come across fan art of a certain movie that you liked? This is something different though, this artist decided to create vectors posters of his favorite movies. He started out by illustrating the leading roles in the movie and then putting everything together from there on. He added a twist with the posters which I think fit them perfectly. Check them out below.

Artist: Grzegorz Domaradzki

These illos are absolutely amazing… Great lines on the faces. In fact, it kind of reminds me of A Scanner Darkly movie, with its cartoon ‘effect’ over the top of the traditional shots.

I had to look up what exactly the ‘vector’ in vector poster meant. But I see the point.

With a vector graphic the image is stored as mathematical equations rather than just the location of dots (pixels). Hence if you zoom in to the image, as we can see above, there is no degredation of the image through pixelation.

    Very nice.
