There are always roundups of the most beautiful themes or the newly released themes, but what we don’t see often is a post about the most purchased themes. I decided to roundup the top ten most purchased wordpress themes on Themeforest. If you thought guys weren’t making any money through wordpress themes, think again. The top theme has racked in 4502 sales to date which means it totals to $157570 obviously there is a 30% cut that Themeforest receives, but its still a lot of money from one wordpress theme. Check them all out below.

    I think this is the future of web design. Web designers will more and more sell their work in ways like this because it is cheaper for the customer and good designer can earn much more money.

    It’s fascinating what some people can get out of wordpress. At the moment I only have a free wordpress theme which I try to edit the way I want it to be.

    Great idea for an article! Themesforest is handsdowne the best freelance community for wordpress themes.. I’m still an enormous fan of studiopress and ithemes but if you’re looking for creative diversity (not to mention some really creative use of HTML5, JQuery, and Javascript in general), themesforest is the spot.
