Hope you enjoy the post, Share if you like it.
Super cool storage for that stack of business cards – You’ve collected hundreds of business cards since that last conference. Now, they’re scattered between stacks on your desk, stuffed into files, mixed into papers, and wrinkling in your back pocket. That’s hardly the way to maintain a proper business relationship. This little file cabinet looks like a shrunken version of the real thing, but holds up to eight hundred business cards. Two drawers pull out, letting you shuffle through your entire collection. We’ve even included lettered-tabs to help keep everything organized.
Paper! NOM NOM NOM! – Paper normally sticks together through the use of external device – usually glue or some kind of bent metal wire. Then some kind of freakin’ GENIUS realized you can stick paper together WITH PAPER!
Stick anywhere and start getting organized! – There are certainly a lot of ways to roll these days. “Roll with it” or “Let’s roll” are pretty popular. Then there’s the ever present “That’s how I roll” as a statement to succinctly convey someone’s personal philosophy. You can always “Roll your own” if a generic off-the-shelf assembly is not to your liking. And the newest way to roll – our Calendar Tape roll – helps you easily roll your own calendar.
A One Can Fridge – The big refrigerator in your office cools a lot of stuff. Food, science experiments once known as food, and your secret stash…of drinks. Of drinks! But what happens when you just want one can at your desk and you want it cold? Well, plug in this small single-can beverage cooler into a USB port and chill a can on your desk. Then you won’t have to get up to get your drink.
An amazing glimpse of this promised future has just arrived at ThinkGeek in the form of the Bluetooth Laser Virtual Keyboard. This tiny device laser-projects a keyboard on any flat surface… you can then type away accompanied by simulated key click sounds. It really is true future magic at its best. You’ll be turning heads the moment you pull this baby from your pocket and use it to compose an e-mail on your Bluetooth enabled PDA or Cell Phone. With 63 keys and and full size QWERTY layout the Laser Virtual Keyboard can approach typing speeds of a standard keyboard… in a size a little larger than a matchbook.
Make use of your spare SATA hard drives – Storage is cheap – less than a dollar per gigabyte. Music and video are being archived at home by everyone from you to your grandmother. Consequently, hard-drives are being upgraded constantly, and quite a few of them end up getting discarded. Just because they’re small, though, doesn’t make them useless.
Your Flash-Drive’s Been HACKED! – We’ve got the tiniest flash-drives, and we’ve got flash-drives that are hardened against attack. Now, we’ve got flash-drives that look like they’ve been hacked! Imagine yourself, sitting in a coffee-shop. You pull out your venerable laptop, and fire it up. You may not realize it, but there are jealous eyes on your hardware. They see your computer and size you up. Is the computer you carry worth trying to steal? Are you enough of a threat to them? The mental-calculations proceed apace. That is until you reach for your flash drive.
Control Your Power Adapter Jungle – No matter how hard you try it’s virtually impossible to charge the myriad devices needed by the average geek without spawning a cable disaster. Wires trailing all the your desk and multiple power bricks crammed into one tortured power strip is pretty much the price of having cool technology. Or is it? The PowerStation Cable Organizer has arrived to clean up your cable Chernobyl and make all your devices charge together in harmony.
Never stop talking – Your cellphone is your lifeline to the outside world. Without it, you might as well be some caveman, lost in time and pounding out text-messages on cavern walls in pig blood. Please, for the sake of all that’s digital, we must not – nay WILL NOT allow that to happen! As long as there is breath in our lungs, and conveniently packaged 2800mAh chemical-electric storage cells in convenience stores, our cellphones will NEVER die! This is the point of the movie where the patriotic music swells.
A telephone classic is re-born! Made from the original case mouldings that were supplied by BT back in the seventies, these rotary dial Retro Telephones are the real deal and come supplied ready for use with modern telephone cables and sockets.
Complete with that fabulous click and whirr dialling action and the classic big hollow bell ring tone (not digital by the way, it’s the real thing), the phones are available in their original Pillar Box Red, Ivory and Black colours, and have exactly the same satisfyingly chunky weight and feel as those old friends from the seventies. The 70’s may have produced some truly terrible music and very questionable haircuts, but the phones were fabulous!
