30 Abstract Traditional Paintings

When we look at what is possible in the 21st century through technology and we look back at the pre computer age, we wonder how people survived and what they did with their time…not even to mention the artists. Nowadays it’s easy to pop open Photoshop and build a beautiful digital piece without having to spend money on a canvas, paint, brushes or thinners etc. In the past people had to plan their paintings ahead due to mistakes being really costly erasers weren’t useable on paintings like you do on a computer.

Art has always fascinated me, since a young age. I’ve always enjoyed galleries and expo’s since a young age with my favorite topics being portraits and abstract art. I love randomness in paintings because a picture is like a poem without the words. You write your own version of the story through what you see. I thought it would be good to roundup some quality abstract paintings for you to look at and potentially buy. These paintings are listed on Saatchi Online which is a great location to buy art online. Whilst you might see abstract paintings below, there is still a different style to each of the paintings which you will notice immediately too.

You can navigate to the paintings sales page by clicking on the image itself or go to the artists profile by visiting their copyright link right below their painting. Hope you enjoy this inspiration.
