Bringing “Sexy” Back to the Blog

Over the past 2 years, Creativeoverflow has grown, no doubt about that. Our first few months were the fastest growth period we experienced and it hit a small upward plateau from there, but the fact that has been holding me down is that Creativeoverflow hasn’t reached its full potential. I also know why it hasn’t.

Yes, it’s true I do know, but over the past few months I’ve struggled to actually put it on the table and deal with it. The reason being that the An1ken Group has grown with involvement and the businesses too. I have been so busy that I haven’t been able to focus on Creativeoverflow as much as I want to and therefore I threw a lot of irrelevant, weird, incomplete articles your way. I don’t apologize often, but now I’m going to.

I’m sorry for pushing down the content quality on Creativeoverflow.

Creativeoverflow was known for its unique content that you couldn’t find anywhere else on the web. Even before Creativeoverflow had its own unique blog design we were known for producing quality content that were valuable, interesting and non passable to the readers. So now that I have put that out on the table for everyone to read, I will be mentioning the changes below.

Changes to Creativeoverflow

  • Unique Quality Content
  • Content will be unique and not be available anywhere else on the web. We will write and output informative articles that will help readers in different situations, areas and tasks that they have at hand.

  • Quality Tutorials
  • Tutorials will be resurfacing again. We will be outputting high quality Photoshop, Illustrator, Cinema 4D and Practical design tutorials that will help you experiment, create and garner new skills and methods. We will be focusing on different tutorials to help you fill your skill set.

  • Post Series
  • We will be continuing with the post series and bringing in some new series as well. The series that will be continuing is Sunday Illustration Inspiration, Designer Portfolios to Inspire and then we will be bringing in Beautiful Workspaces to Inspire. These articles will run weekly and perhaps later on build up to a twice weekly posting as well.

  • Daily Article Delivery
  • We will be focusing to give you a minimum of at least 1 article per day and pushing this up to 3 articles per day maximum. We will be focused on quality from now on out.

  • Stricter Guest Post Submissions
  • We will be reviewing articles on a stricter base and making sure that the information is relevant to our readership. We need to make sure that the articles are unique and that our readers will garner wisdom from them.

  • Newsletter
  • We have a strong database of users that are subscribed to our newsletter and we are looking to pack and reward them with loads of goodies. Goods that the normal user won’t know about. We want to thank those that take the time to read our newsletter and stay subscribed.

  • Originality
  • Whilst taking Creativeoverflow back to its roots. I’m seeking originality in content, user comments, suggestions and more. I’m looking to build a strong community surrounding Creativeoverflow and will always be direct, personal and to the point. No imitations of feelings or hiding behind words. What you read is what you get. It’s reality. I will share personal situations more of and bound them to creativity and feelings. Helping you avoid certain situations in the long run.

Creativeoverflow HQ has been reset. We have refueled the rocket and reset the launch angle. We are aiming straight for the Moon and don’t plan to divert off course. There will be a lot of new things coming your way as a reader and therefore I want to reassure you that I will be having my hands on all things over at Creativeoverflow HQ. I will be writing a lot more too.

I’m really looking forward to all the new happenings here at Creativeoverflow. We would appreciate it if you would help us spread the word with our articles and subscribe to our following. Looking forward to having you help Creativeoverflow reach new heights.

Cheers.
