Envisioning Disney Characters in “Real-Life”

We were all young once a upon a time and with that mention that is how all my stories as a kid started…”Once upon a time..” Times have changed and so has the stories; To previously being swept away into fairy tales of chariots, kings and castles to bears and three little pigs to now having super powers and controlling the universe. Children nowadays are being fed nonsense with all the new stories that have seen the light over the past few years. Jirka Väätäinen took it into his hands to produce some awesome illustrations that bring your childhood stories to life.

Ever wondered what Jasmine from Aladdin could have looked like? I did as a kid and those pictures in the novels are the only things that kept my imagination on track with the stories. We never knew if they were actually true or not and the fact that everything was illustrated wasn’t a tell sure sign. These illustrations really hit the nail on the head and is executed perfectly. Now you know what the authors of all those comic and graphic novels had in mind when they initially produced all the stories for parents to read to their kids.
